グラフィックデザイナー village®︎の長嶋りかこさん @rikako.nagashima が手がけられた、
Kvadrat のカレンダー〈Irreversible Scale〉が、
・Dezeen Award 2025「graphic design of the year」、
・FRAME Awards 2025 gold を受賞されました。
心よりおめでとうございます。
このカレンダーは、Kvadrat が掲げる2040 年までのネットゼロへの道のりを、16 年の「時間そのもの」として示す作品です。
毎年 1 本ずつ減っていくロールが、時間と資源の不可逆性を静かに伝えています。
omotesando atelier では、数年前からvillage®︎のカレンダーを使っています。
一年の全体像を日々のなかで眺めることで、
「今日は一年のどこにいるのか」という視点が生まれ、気持ちに小さな余白がひらくように個人的に感じています。
Irreversible Scale は、
“いまここ”の選択を、少し遠い未来までつないで考える、
静かで力強い視線を与えてくれる作品です。
具体的な指標があることで、今の目の前の選択が変わってくるかもしれません。

Irreversible Scale has been awarded Graphic Design of the Year at the Dezeen Awards 2025, and also received Gold at the FRAME Awards 2025.
Although I couldn’t attend the ceremonies, my sincere thanks go to the team at Kvadrat for receiving the trophies on my behalf. And once again, thank you to Inada from village®, the team at TANK, and everyone at Kvadrat who contributed to the making of this project.
It would make me even happier if this award could also serve as an opportunity for more people to learn about Kvadrat’s path toward net zero.
